Ethanol
Tarr is not only your direct source for SDA, CDA and pure ethanol, we're also your export link to the rest of the world.
Only Tarr packaging facilities are licensed by the BATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms) in Arizona and the Pacific Northwest. We've held permit numbers DSP-OR-13 and DSP-AZ-1 in Portland and Phoenix, respectively, since 1995.
Our DSP (Distilled Spirits Permit) enables Tarr to bring in 30,000 gallon jumbo railcars of 200 proof ethyl alcohol, then prepare and ship products in any quantity and package style, and in three forms:
  • pure
  • as a consumable and taxable components for the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, biotech and food processing industries
  • denatured to BATF specifications for SDA and CDA for everything from personal care to cleaning solutions and industrial applications.
With licensed facilities in the ports of Portland and Seattle as well as Phoenix, we're uniquely positioned for exports to Asia, Canada, Mexico, and Central and South America.
